Voluntary summer programs are available for Grades 7 and 8 students in the areas of Literacy, Numeracy or ESL (English as a Second Language). There is also a program, Reach Ahead (a credit course), available to grade 8 students to help with the transition to secondary school.
Registration forms need to be returned to Doon P.S. by Friday, May 19th for all programs EXCEPT Reach Ahead which are due June 16th.
Summer School registration forms are now available. Forms will be sent home this week with students who teachers feel may benefit. If your child does not receive a registration form and you would like one and/ or you would like more information, please call Ms. Lussier, our Guidance Contact. Students may also pick up registration forms from Ms. Lussier in the Guidance Office.

General Program Info.
- daily attendance is required, students may only miss 2 classes
- bus transportation is provided for students who attend Doon’s home summer school. (Jacob Hespeler). Students will receive busing information in June. Students may attend other locations if they choose (Cameron Heights), but families would need to provide their own transportation.
