Greetings to all of our Grade 6 families!

This year’s provincial Grade 6 testing is scheduled to take place on May 23 to May 25th. For those days students will be following the provincial procedures and writing tests for Reading, Writing, and Math. The tests aren’t intended to require special preparation as they are based directly on the Ontario curriculum, which has been covered throughout the year in your child’s classroom. Students demonstrate the reading, writing and math skills they have developed through regular classroom work.

Please try to avoid taking vacation on those days or scheduling appointments. Below you will find links for more information about what the testing is about, and the school board’s response to our most frequently asked questions.
