Reminder: Waterloo Region District School Board (WRDSB) is hosting a Public Information Session on Wednesday, May 1, 2024 regarding the New South Kitchener Elementary School Boundary Review, involving:

  • Brigadoon Public School
  • Doon Public School
  • Groh Public School
  • JW Gerth Public School
  • Pioneer Park Public School

The primary purpose of this Boundary Review is to establish an attendance area boundary for a new school which is planned to be constructed at 670 Thomas Slee Drive in the City of Kitchener. The school is tentatively scheduled to open in September 2025.

There will be no changes before June 2025.

The voices of families and caregivers are an important part of the Boundary Review process. To help us hear from you, a public information session meeting will be held:

  • When: May 1, 2024, from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM.
  • Where: Huron Heights Secondary School, Cafetorium, 1825 Strasburg Rd, Kitchener ON N2R 1S3
