Explore Your Future event will be held on April 12, 2017, 6:00 – 9:00pm, at Bingemans Conference Centre.  This event will be held for youth (grades 7 – 12), parents/guardians, and educators who assist youth with career planning and exploration.  The event format will be 1) an exhibition area with employers, community organizations, and education/training representatives; 2) informative breakout sessions for youth and parents/guardians.

This is not a career fair, but rather an opportunity for youth and parents to talk with local employers about future career options; talk with community organizations about services/programs available to prepare youth for their careers; and talk with education/training institutions about their programs.  The vision for this event is to provide youth with information and resources that they can use to make their career decisions, and to provide youth and parents with a springboard to continue to career exploration conversation at home or school.”
