Please find attached the order form for the “Meal of Fortune” lunch program. A paper copy of these forms were sent home with each student today.
“Meal of Fortune”is a weekly lunch program run by a committee of grade eight students. Proceeds from the sale of the lunches support global initiatives and various charities. Last year, Doon students raised over $5000 and made donations to Caring Partners Global, Kiva Loans, Free the Children and our local food bank. Meal of Fortune lunches will be offered on Wednesdays beginning December 9th. Order forms for lunches for December, January and February are due Thursday, December 4th. Cinnamon buns will be on sale on a first come first served basis for $1.00 each Wednesday at second nutrition break.
