Doon Public School is joining with the House of Friendship (www.houseoffriendship.org) to support the 2015 February Potato Blitz campaign. Each year, the House of Friendship uses over 300,000 pounds of potatoes in its emergency hampers and meals to share the gift of food with neighbours in need.

Beginning Monday January 19th through to January 29th, students and teachers will have the opportunity to donate funds* for spuds and bring in bags of potatoes. The class that collects the most in donations will be treated to a pizza party to celebrate their efforts!

*Cash donations of $20.00 or more are eligible for a receipt issued by the HOF
